So heres my plan feel free to gimmi feedback on it good or bad. Im gunna start with the head, im thinking brian crower duel valve springs/titanium retainers (i know its not gunna rev to high but id like to kick the rpms up to around 8k plus just wanna beef thins up a little for peace of mind lol) Then ill probly go brian crower stage 2 turbo cams w/some sort of cam gear i.e. buddy club, aem, skunk 2. Then have the head decked, bead blasted and hot tanked. That pretty much sums up the head work.

OK, on to the block pretty simple here just je forged pistons and eagle h beams, eagle block guard, line honed, hot tanked and bead blasted. Also new gaskets on everything and new bearings and main seals.

Then probly skunk 2 intake manni,550cc injectors. Basicly all the litle stuf to compleat it.Im shooting for 300+whp hoping to make a little more like 350whp but we will just have to see. Anyway thats about it. thanks for looking!

#149198 You can get nearly 300 on a stock motor.

I would suggest, since you have the head off get a port and polish, with a valve job. Will help a shit load in the end.

Get ARP head studs!!!

Might want to think abuot a victor x manifold. Might work better.

#149219 X2 on the VictorX IM and ARP headstuds. Grab a 65mm Edlebrock TB while you're on the same website. I would also get ARP main and rod bolts. Might as well get some good bolts while you have the bottom end ripped apart.

I hope you plan on sleeving down the road, the Eagle block guard isn't going to cut it for long. Might see some positive redline runs, but not many before the stock sleeves give way. I could also be wrong. I know a guy ragging the shit out of his 315whp LS with a very similar setup to your plan, bouncing off the 8500rpm redline all the time. So you might have good luck with your stock sleeves and block guard...

#149232 Thanks for the advise sounds like victor x is the way to go ya i was planning all arp hardwear for shure! What do they use to sleav the block? cuz i saw a build that a local shop did it looked like some kinda glue or somthing that was between the block and sleeve iv never seen that before?

#149383 Glue? That's a negative, Ghost Rider.

It's an actual replacement of the original sleeves with new stronger sleeves. Ask just about anyone who's pushing serious power and they will tell you tot sleeve your block.

Darton MID sleeves are the industry standard, IMO.
