#208198 Good question...again I don't know. I'm sure it isn't too horrendously expensive considering the cost difference between a stainless DC header and a coated stainless DC header isn't much at all.

going from stock cams to these on a fully built high comp motor, sure it could happen. But it wont be 60 hp on a stock motor.

#208253 Well what brand makes such an aggressive cam? To bump 60hp or is it all in the tuning.

#208261 It's always going to be an integral combination of the parts and the tuning, IMO. There is no one single part that is an absolute bolt on that will net the most power available to the engine without tuning. Although, who's going to tune their engine after putting a simple CAI on?

#208273 Yeah that's true, hmm i was looking at the JUN3 head package what do you think of that for 1600? I think.it might be to expensive but i don't know anybody who has it.

#208528 Are yougoing for all out power? How about streetability? I don't know of anyone around here who has that, and I haven't actually seen anyone with the package on any forums... I'd be interested to see how it performs, but it's $1600. That's my only beef with it.

Are you wanting to raise your compression and bore the block out? Higher compression is the best way I could see that would utilize the head to it's potential.

#208542 I have a gsr block bored to 82mm,it has high comp. pistons but the guy i bought the motor from didn't know what compression pistons they were only that they were all motor. Im wanting to get a lot of power out of it because cops here are stupid so im not worried about getting my hood popped.

#208573 Skunk2 Pro series cams Stage 2 cams
Springs and retainers
Port and polish
Valve Job
Thinner Headgasket
Skunk2 Pro Series IM
68mm TB SKunk2 while we are at it.

Those are just my suggestions.

You can also pick
Toda cams and valvetrain
Crower
Buddy Club
Fox Motorsports
Bisi
and many more.

All out power is a great goall, but you want streetability and drivablility as well. Or else it will be hell on the road.

#208600 What exactly do you mean by drive and street ability though? I just thought if it was built with name brand parts and built properly i wouldn't have a problem driving it on the street.

#208639 high hp cars usually only make their power from 6k rpm up. which means its crap down low. It can also mean, if you pick the wrong cams you can have a lopey idle which will make it hard to drive on the street. VTEC kinda stops the idle problem, but there are many ways that it can be a pain to drive around.

#208677 Oh i get what you mean. Well im looking for 200-220 who.

#208717 You shouldnt have a problem reaching that with the right parts and a good tune.

The skunk2 parts will get you there just fine. They also have a good rep. Just combine the listed parts with hondata and you will be set.

You will want to know what compression your motor has to help match the cams to.

#208729 Definitely find out what you're running inside before upgrading anything else.

And GreasedMonkey, I've seen better numbers from the AEBS IM than the Skunk2 IM. And for a lower cost at that.

The 68mm TB won't help much more than maybe two hp at the VERY top end, but you can port out the stock TB to 64mm at the outlet of the TB to match the Skunk2 or AEBS 64mm inlet.

If you're dead set on getting a bigger TB, Professional Products has a 65mm TB that would probably suit you better, IMO.
