#59730 hey,
i have a 93' eg5 (esi) which a month ago the valve seals wore out on!
so i have bought a b16a2 out of a jordan civic(99), i got with the engine the exhaust mani, intake mani, ecu, mounts, some of the engine loom(was cut)
i still need a driveshaft, gearbox, and alternator.
so here is where i am stuck, the b16a2 seeing as its out a 99' model is a obd2 i think (maybe obd2a/b?) and my car is obd1, am i write in thinking i can use my esi engine/interior loom if i get the injectors, alternator, and dizzy out of a obd1 b16a?
is there anything else i would need to change?

#59776 you would need to use the SiR2 or a D16Z6 harness for your car (should be easy to get in your area) and it will plug in to your harness in your chassis. (as long as it isn't a Carburateded car) youd also have to use an OBD1 Vtec Ecu and Distributor the 99-00 civics are OBD2B. youd have to get a motor mount out of a SiR civic or integra i beleive is the upper tranny mount i forgot but you would need the Rear "T" bracket or i call it "L" bracket same difference as long its from a 92-95 or 94-01 integra
is your ESI harness one for a Vtec motor or no? if not you can use it as long as you wire it up for the other sensors it needs like knock and such

#59786 thanks, my car already has a d16z6, the esi is the equivalent to your si (i think) mounts are all the same its only the electrics that are different, the ecu wont have to be obd1 would it?
p.s what video is your avatar from? i want to see it!
