#41882 definitly get the B16a. Way better for you peice of mind.

I would however not waste my time trying to find a complete ITR head. Just get yours ported and polished, and add the cams and springs. Its rather easy to make 170+ to the wheels on a B16a. And with the B16a swap you get a hella good tranny.

#41888 I just searched Honda-Tech and found about a dozen complete ITR heads for sale. A port and polish, and aftermarket this and that would run a grip of money.

#41889 its the same head with mild porting and lighter intake valves. Not worth the extra money in my book.

Complete ITR heads $800-$1000

Port job on B16 head $800-$1000, valvetrain @ $350-$400, cams @ $500-$700

You do the math, but I know which one I'm choosing for a basic build. 8)

If your building a high horsepower drag motor, then I'd send a head out for portwork.

All depends what your goals are.
