- Thu Jan 10, 2008 12:50 pm #37172 i have a b18a (with turbo kit) with gsr trans cant get the plug 2 fit in the vss,the harness is from my 95 civic do i need to get a vss off a civic? will a d series vss fit in a gsr trans?also the car use to be auto did a auto - manual... thanks

- Thu Jan 10, 2008 5:53 pm #37190 The d VSS will fit in the B tranny. as for the plug, Im not sure. didnt pay that much attention when i helped with a auto to manual swap. You might need to get a manual tranny engine harness.

that you def need... differences between the plugs from auto - manual is the plug tabs... also the prongs... so good luck with that!
