#126077 I have a B16A2

I forgot what its called but the hose that goes from the intake manifold to the valve under it.

I didn't have it. both sided were closed off so i got the hose for it yesterday and installed it.

This mourning I turn my car on and my idle jumps to 2500.

Wtf happended? It didn't do it before when they were both closed.

#126367 You meen the IAVC ?

The previous owner prob pluged off the cooling water true the IAVC and FITV.

Check if you see any more pluged connections and reset your ECU so it can "read" it self in.

agreed after the ECU gets set and is put into the groove youll be just fine :thumb:

#128461 if the ivac was plug the car would have the idel jump problem
ie 700-1500 back down...

#128490 Idle Air Control Valve is IACV.

But most likely he's having a problem with the FITV. The IACV lines can be left open w/out any problems but the FITV will cause a major vacuum leak if it's not plugged or filled with coolant.
