Hello, I've been reading online about the swap and was wanting to get some more clear answers so any info would be GREATLY appreciated. My wife currently drives a '96 Accord EX manual with the F22B1 donor and she keeps messing up the body. So I was thinking about scrapping/parting the Accord and possibly swapping the motor into my '92 DX hatch auto . I already added a CAI and header on the F22B1. She has about 160k miles on it and it is running strong. My D15B7 motor is running strong at 138k miles but I'd love to see the power/tq in my hatch of the F22B1. Plus, I'm sure the F22B1 would get pretty good mpg on the lighter platform. Currently I'm getting 26/32 on the Accord with I/H/E.
But anyways I heard about Innovative Motor Mounts for the swap, but nothing really else. I'd be interested in swapping the motor and trans but have read about the axles not working? Any ideas?
Also since my F22B1 is an OBDII system, would I just remove all the wiring of the D15B7? Or how does that work?
I guess I'm just wondering about any other parts, kits, thing-a-ma-jiggers that I'll need or pop-up. Any ideas, comments, suggestions? Thank you for the help!
