let me first start off with a disclaimer by saying that i am not responsible if you f$%k up your motor cause you did something wrong but here are some general d15 series builds for n/a
and im not 100% sure that all these piston head combos will work lol
say you have a d15 block heres your options :
d15b/7/2/8 block
piston options are few
basically you can only put d16a1 pistons in a d15 block compression will be 9.26 to 1 with those pistons and they will sit below the deck .030 thats with a d15b7/ d16a6 head
i have thoght about this build and i think you could deck the block .030 and have a sweet high compression d15b7 compression would be 9.92 to 1 with a b7/a6 head if you used a z6 head you would have 10.7 to 1 and thats all using a b7 head gasket if you used a z6 hg it would be 11.04 to 1
in conclusion
b7 block a1 pistons deck block .030 use z6 head z6 hg 11 to 1 compression
b7 block a1 pistons deck block .030 use b7/a6 head use b7 hg 9.9 to 1
b7 block a1 pistons use b7 head and head gasket 9.2 to 1
b7 block with b7 pistons use z6 head and z6 head gasket (mini me swap) 10.2 to 1 compression
b7 block with b7 pistons use y8 head (also a mini me swap) z6 head gasket 10.6 to 1
b7 block a1 pistons use y8 head and z6 head gasket 10.6 to 1
b7 block a1 pistons deck block .030 use y8 head and z6 head gasket 11.5 to 1 not sure if thats even been done but it would be sick for a d15 n/a
b7 block b7 pistons with a d15z1 head and a b7 head gasket 12.5 to 1
thats crazy
somone should try that lol
well thats it for the b7/8/2 block lots of options there not sure they have all been done or possible but those are the numbers
also if anyone has done any of these swaps let me know and post up here
