D16A9 is DOHC, D16A6 is SOHC ;)
This is a DOHC from a first generation CRX I think, looking at the intake mani and the weird looking ignition/distributorcap.
The A6 is a SOHC D16 producing 108hp, found in the MK1 Civic ED7.
The D16Z2 is the SOHC D16 that is found in the 2nd mark Civic ED7.
I don't know about the Honda Concerto, but it was available with a SOHC D16, producing 110hp.
I've owned two mk2 Civic's ED7.

D16A9 and D16Z5 are the engines found in the first and second mark CRX ED9.
In the 1989 CRX ED9 there was a sort of mix between mk1 and mk2.
I owned one, it had the body and everything of a mk1, but with the D16Z5 and different electronics (like sensors and so on).

Here are some pics of it :)
My first ED7, after a street-crossing tree, D16Z2;

Second ED7, D16Z2;

CRX ED9, D16Z5;

And now I know a bit more of cars and care more for a decent looking enginebay, this is the most recent pic...
D15B2 longblock, everything else is D15B7;

#19638 Just i/h/e on the D15, still have a D16 non-VTEC cam waiting to be installed.
So internals are stock, so is the intake manifold etcetera.

No wire tucking, just moved the battery to the trunk, saves a lot of space under the hood :)

Thanks btw :)

I don't really know who the guy is, his name is joey... The engine is sitting in a '90 CRX Si. He does race it, but he doesn't give out 1/4 mile times...
