#305782 Okay, so I don't know where else to post this (or if I should even be asking this on Civic-eg. Trying to avoid Hater-Tech). Mods move if necessary.

Last night I was helping a friend install a new stereo in his 92 Accord LX. I got it all wired up and put in but I turned the key and nothing happened. So I pulled it back out and double and triple checked all my wiring. Everything is perfect. Still nothing. Checked all the fuse and still nothing. The weird thing is, sometimes the light on the front will light up but the stereo won't power on. Just every few times you turn the car on though... very randomly.

Normally I would have thought he got a bad head unit but his old stereo was doing the same thing which is why we replaced it. Any ideas? :?

#305786 could it be the wiring on the accord is bad since previous radio was acting the same.

bypass the stock wires & try connecting to a fuse & test to make sure at least the radio works & u get sound.

#305801 sounds like a ground problem.
