needless to say i was late for work.. :D
My eyelids showed up at my parents house today, pics to come!, Cracked open the pan on my B20 and its brandnew inside!! made me smile. On the hunt for a Type R gridle tho, new timing belt is ordered and a couple gaskets, still looking for a tranny thats under a grand$ lol, Picking up a new set of Koni reds tonight or tomorrow hopefully, then a nice set of springs and new rear control arms

Little update, ordered some B20 gear.. some new gaskets and a timing belt, its coming together little by little :)

looking for a set of nuespeed springs cause i cant find the eibach sportline kit for the EK, but more than likely gonna end up with another set of SKUNK2 sleeves, mine are about ready to fall apart :(

Painted parts should be back early this week, i think im gonna settle for the LS tranny found a deal on a 93 teg which would save me alot of time and $$, plus i get a full brake swap, and the choice between the b18 and b20 opinions??!

- Tue Feb 16, 2010 2:55 am #175645 the 93 teg will still have a cable tranny that you cant use with out buying more adapters. The ones on the market suck. on/0ff switches.

Get a hydro tranny from a 94+ integra, delsol vtec or 99-00 civic sir

B18's have stronger cylinder walls, so they wont crack as easy. B20's have more torque and becouse of such will be quicker then a b18. However the downside is they cylinder walls are thinner(6mm bewteen clyinders vs 9mm),

Given your history with engines, and on how you got your name, Use the b18. I guess you could keep the b18 as a back up for when you blow you b20.

but the biggest update is my motor, someone traded in a 93 eg which a full b18b1 swap, i wanted to buy the whole car since it was mint but since it falls under the clean air act it had to be crushed :(.. so i swapped in a blown d15 and but the b18 in mine.. now heres my set up,

B18b1, gsr tranny, worn clutch, my b series dizzy shit the bed so i swapped the guts of my d series in, running the d series p2e ecu with the crank sensor bypass mod, no o2 sensors yet :( on the list is a header, iacv mod so i can use my harness.. um so ya works pretty good but can only get better,

any tips or tricks would be stellar
