- Sat Jul 25, 2009 4:06 pm #133290 I like the Captiva blue color, but since mines a Gs-R, If i were to get it painted, i would go with the OEM Aztec Green Pearl, even though its not nearly one of my favorite colors.
Im tryin to go for the FULL OEM look on this, with a couple add-ons.

Anyway, For updates (its only the morning, so i have the day to work on it.

I took the tint off the rear quarter panel windows, and started taking it off the back (IT IS SUCH A BITCH!!!) Baked on like hell. :x

Still hooking up misc. things that arent together.

Having trouble with the wire harness, I picked one up from the junkyard (out of an OBD1 LS 5 Speed), and i seem to be missing a plug on each side of the stock main harness on the car!! WTF

after i do some investigating, ill get back to that.

Ill take some pictures later on today,

But if anyone know what the problem is here, throw out those opinions, i need all i can get. :thumb:

I did some random stuff this weekend. including a wash and wax, which actually cleaned it up alot.

I started by tightening the aftermarket antenna, but then i thought to look underneath for rust and found this :shock:

so, i took the rust off and painted it over with a rust inhibitor, and it worked fine.

But wait, why is the gas door open???

oh, it was rigged in there and when i opened it, it popped back in

So i got the extra one from my junked DA and it was all good.

Also, cleaned the hell out of the carpet and seats, and put my lexus mats in cause they fresh 8)

Thats it for this weekend, hopefully ill get a day off in the week, so ill have some more time to work on it.
Next update look fr SLAMMAGE and hopefully getting it running, as well as putting in audio.

I am ordering sonme password JDM side markers tonight as well as some amber bumper light covers.

Thinking about what other little things i will be ordering. ill update on my decision tonight.


As far as the car goes, i am at a standstill between repinning the harness or just waiting until i can finally find an original OBD1 Gs-r harness.

If anybody knows where i could get one of these rare harnesses, PM me with the info, id greatly appreciate it. 8)
