what i would do.....

I would be puttin the B in this EF. that thing looks rust free, is an Si, and has obviously been taken care of or just not driven at all over the years. i'd say since the EG has a D in it right now anyway, and needs body work and what not, just keep it as the DD.

just my initial thoughts seein how good of shape that EF looks to be in. :thumb:

yeah, i've been this as well, maybe i will drive the EF when spring comes around and until then drive the eg, then i can jump into the body work and all that, By then i will have the rear discs on and the interior cleaned then its just lowering it(EF), and i wont need to worry about salty roads tearing the body up.

But i think the B is going in the EG, seeing as i want a turbo project and i the EG is the perfect candidate, plus i want the y7 as a full time 'spare' motor incase things go bad on the boost deal.

thanks, man, im fucking really happy... these next few days waiting to go pick it up are gonna be nerve wrecking lol

I couldnt believe it when i saw it, and thats why i figured i would definitely be outbid on only $1,000.... youd pay more than a grand, right? :thumb:

absolutly man in my honest opinion where we live thats a 3 g car easy you made out like a fat rat. hell and as clean as it is i would be willing to pay that too. you say that its gona be a dd but i know ur ass and there will be upgrades so i am uber lookin forward to seein the pics. post some shit up when u get her home :D

Im glad to hear youd pay that much because i may have to sell it if i move this year :(

- Wed Jan 20, 2010 1:07 am #169630 :woot: :woot: Went and picked the car up this morning. It has a few flaws that you couldnt see good in the pictures, but overall, i am very happy with the purchase.

It appears it has sat out in the sun for an extended period of time because the sunroof cover, drivers side door panel, and sun visors are shot from heat therapy, therefore they just crumble at the touch.
Also, the car has been slightly side swiped by something, because the dent is very light.
The last thing is that someone stole the stereo out of it and scraped up the cover and bent the metal a little bit.

A good thing i found is that it not only came with an owners manual, but a service manual and a haynes service manual ( all mint cond) as well as brand new rear drum linings and exhaust gaskets.

This weekend i am going to try to get a bunch of pictures and hopefully get the thing running, which would lead to me getting it really cleaned up nice.


and this is my 2000th post on Civic-EG and i still love the site. :thumb:
