UPDATES!!!!!!
Today I got to finish swapping suspension and rear brakes, and hooked it up to a battery to check the function of all the
interior lights, headlights, power windows/doors/sunroof, etc.
Everything worked as far as i could tell, i couldnt check the headlights
and taillights as i forgot they didnt have bulbs in them
Another thing i found out is that it has a Factory Acura security system in it,
but i dont have the remote to it, so im tryin to take it out and get a new one.
If anyone knows how to remove it or like deactivate it permanently or
something other than to cut it out of the harness it would be cool to give me some insight or a link to a site or something
So, all in all everythings going good
ONTO THE PICTURES, ( pictures make people happy )
This is a before of the rear passenger side:
The little bolts holding the rotor were stripped, so i grinded them off
And bam, slapped on my drilled and slotted rotors off the parts car as well as the rear skunk2 camber kit, this was the product
On the drivers side, i was shocked to see someone had cut the rear wheel speed sensor plug off, and even more shocked to see that the speed sensr wasnt even there!!
The caliper mounting bracket was rusted on there and i had no room to get the impact in there so i took the whole setup off
only to find out (once i got the bracket off with the impact) that the hub itself was not ABS!
WTF right?!!?
Then i got the the rest of it switched with no trouble
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER TO USE ANTI-SEIZE!!!!
It will save you lots of time and headaches in the end
also threw on the cheapy lower tie bar for the hell of it
And heres one of the thermal
Look for more updates tomorrow, im gonna try to get the motor in
