#325036 looking good man, havent actually checked out your build, if your going to run kpro why not just throw the k24a2 head on it and run that? there is a huge difference int he 2.0 engines with actual vtec versus the a3 single cam vtec style.

my friend has a ep3 with a k24a2 in it he sold the k24 and bought a k20a2 instead, he said it had way to much torque and i agree i drove that thing around town for 2 days and it was pretty bad. lol lots of fun. but who wants to replace tires all the time...

im personally looking for a decent priced eg hatch to throw my type r into. tired of the coupe.

love the color your ep3 is :thumb:

nice job on the valve cover too.

if ya got the time it would take you a few hours to strip it down using tallstrip2 aircraft striper in aresol can, wash it off, get a small electric sander with 320 grit sand, sand, and sand then top off with 1000 wet and 2000 wet, use some metal polish and you got a polished valve cover thats sexy with that color blue :thumb:

good luck with your daughter too hope she gets better :thumb:

later friend.

You know if you lived closer :thumb: The motor actually has been up for sale. I could really use the extra money, and i think i want to go another direction first. I think i want to go with a k20a2 with a 6 spd trans eventually when i find one thats low milage enough. For now if i have enough money after i use my taxes to pay off a loan and take out another, i want a progress rear sway setup. A obx v2 stainless rh, and kpro. Probably a cold air intake as well. And a polished valve cover has crossed my mind but i would do the im as well.

#325050 Can you fit an rbc in there?
User avatar
By kylenjdm93
#325051 So that argue b vs k in junkyard I tried posted the list you replied to, except it didn't take my username oh well non the less what a weak disussion, they both have good power gains but no other Honda engine has such great potential, and we've only scratched he surface

Btw, an rbc is a fantastic manifold, the skunk2 manifold lost me power so I went back to my rbc :thumb:

I could use an rbc, yup i might if i can find one cheap

Yea an rbc would fit fine, any intake mani will fit while the a3 is in. But the k24 rbb mani would be a tight fit due to the higher deck height.

#330845 Update time! So the k24a2 is sold (local guy is making payments weekly till its paid for then he can come get it) I also sold my ej1 to fund parts for the ep3.

Heres the parts pile so far, energy suspension motor mount inserts, Ebc rotors, skunk 2 limited edition hardened lca’s, progress front sway bar, progress rear sway bar tie bar combo. Much more on the way.

Next is the dc5 amber side markers and the new wheels i bought.

I got the wheels used, specs are rota boost powder coated teal 16x7 + 40 offset. The tires are relatively new but i have plans to get new ones, tires are falkin 512’s 205/45/16. Plan is to go up to a 205/55/16. Check back for more updates as parts arrive and get installed.
