- Thu Apr 21, 2011 10:03 pm #251620 my accord started to idle up and down from 2000 - 3000 constantly so i check all the vacuum lines none lose. i then replace my tps sensor. now
my accord idles high but stops idle up and down, feels like abs is locking up, and cant put the car into gear(automatic)

what do u guys suggest i do?

- Fri Apr 22, 2011 5:56 am #251706 my old accord did the same thing. check the iacv (idle air control valve) it may be dirty. mine was. i cleaned it with simple green and i was good!

- Fri Apr 22, 2011 6:51 pm #251777 i fix the idle but now shift lever wont go into drive/gear. my brake switch is not broken. any thoughts on it?

did cleaning the iacv fix idling or was it something else?
