I think ur gonna put down some nice hp...can't wait to see some new pics

Thanks everytime I think I'm done something else comes up and its sometimes little things like a bolt that is no where to be found or out of a jar full of nuts none seems to fit I know next time I tear my car apart I'm labeling every single thing :roll:

Haha a garage full of a million labeled honda parts would be a sight to behold! I know what u mean though every time I work on something on mine some type of unexpected thing happens, but I definitely learn more from it. It's gonna be worth it in the end so keep up all ur hard work bro!

#317951 ^^^Thanks :thumb:
been working at it here and there don't have a lot of time usually an hour or 2 a week if I'm lucky i would hate to ask for days off work just to work on the car but if that's what i have to do...

1. brakes have been bled
2. clutch is bled
3. short shifter installed on shift linkage :hehe:(pics up later)
4. new shift knob
5. new battery
6. got my AEM dryflow filter
7. torqued all suspension components
8. made sure everything is connected vacuum lines, harness, ground

My interior was all gutted so i said why not, vacuumed and sprayed with Lysol because there was a lot of questionable mysterious stuff in the car purchased Undercoating spray from Rustoleum (less noise, no rust) sprayed everywhere in the inside even on top of the sound deadener hopefully helps reduce road noise :lol:

Also picked up interior pieces from what i consider a rare sedan in the US..exterior is rosewood brown and interior is wine interior (dark red)
i was getting bored of the grey and i found a mint condition car at the junkyard so i got the carpet and other pieces (dashboard was broken though :thumbdown:)

my car is going to have a few different colors going on in the inside but it's okay i know nobody is going to have the same set up i have 8)

all i need to work on now is mostly electrical:

1.working on the clutch safety switch because i want my car to function as it was OEM (press in clutch to start car)

2.need to wire reverse lights from tranny to harness

3.wire in VTEC!!!

4. ignition timing d15b should be the same as d16z6

5. fill up on the power steering (getting OEM fluid!!!)

hopefully this is rolling by this week wish me luck :windance:

#318441 so everything is plugged in wired in vtec and reverse lights from bay through firewall, the clutch interlock switch is a pain so i'm going to keep it simple :roll:
filled up with OEM honda power steering fluid

i tried starting up my car, it cranks but doesn't turn over :thumbdown:

i can hear my fuel pump when i turn my key so think that's good, motor is on top dead center, i would still need to do ignition timing but isn't the motor supposed to be running for that? i'm going to be reading the haynes manual
any help would be appreciated :D

#318443 Are you getting spark?
User avatar

#318509 i'll check when i get off work but i barely remember that the bottom part of the exhaust manifold (header) isn't connected, can this also be a probable cause? i know that if a vacuum line isn't connected it could be enough for the car not to start... but i'll see

#318613 Pulled check engine codes got
16= fuel injector
21= vtec spool solenoid valve
41=primary oxygen sensor heater

I haven't plugged in vtec yet, think I might have bad fuel injectors :?
And I used the O2 sensor from my d15b7 bad idea?

PS also getting spark

#318619 Its alive its alive!!! :twisted:
So finally got motor started! :woot: :woot: I'm pumped I don't have the bottom portion of my exhaust manifold so it kind of sounded like a muscle car :lol: but that's the best noise I've heard coming from my car, it has almost been two years since I've heard it run

More updates on the way
