Thanks for the nice feedback, i appreciate it a lot!
I managed to get a flu, but i still got the job done with the bushings.
I sweared like cursed in the garage when removing the old bushings without press. I didnt have any other right tools either.
Bushings from "normal" energy end link set to ITR-end links:
Old bushings.
Front lower control arm "big bushing" removed:
With ES:
All in:
then i thought that cause i dont have any use to the optional arms rests inside box, i could do something nice to it.
Parts are pretty much recycled, the only new part is the cooler, cause i wanted i silent one (9db):
- Cool side block is copper (from old Xbox 360 processor cooler which i removed the upper side.)
- Hot side cooling gets done with Xbox 360 GPU aluminium cooler. I attached a 9db 80x80mm cooler to it.
- 12V peltier element (cant remember the power)
- PVC(?) pipe
- Old lunchbox ripped apart to get proper insulation.
And the whole thing will be "bolt on" inside original optional arm rest, se the thing is revertable to original. I know that the fysics law say that the best place to the cooler element would be the arms rest lid. But removing the excess heat would be a big problem.
Some pics (prototype looks extreme ugly, but i promise that when it is ready someday, it will look very nice and OEM. :
