#331534 Steelies are finished. I did a quick job since they won't be on the car for too long, but they turned out decent (I just wish I had center caps for them). I might wetsand and wax them at some point. Lowered the front some more and I'm not rubbing at all! I'm pretty sure I will get new tires for my fat fives that are the correct size. I'm thinking 195/50/15, any thoughts?

#331566 Used some washers to somewhat correct my rear camber. Took my car to Tires Plus to get an alignment before I leave for the weekend, they couldnt drive my car up the ramp without getting hung up on the bottom. So now I get to drive 1000+ miles and wear down my tires until I have time to go to a different location with a recessed ramp.

Here's before and after the washers

#331817 I relocated my ballast on the driver's side. The wires from the bulbs to the ballasts are very short, so I had ziptied the ballast to the power steering pump hose. It was supposed to be temporary but it's been like that for a while. Now I lengthened the wires and it's nice and tucked in my front bumper.

And got my foglights installed finally, thanks to CyberDictator for dremeling out the holes. He does more work on my car than I do.

Next on the list is DRL's, front lip and sidemarkers. And different bulbs for the foglights to better match the color of the HID's and DRL's. I ordered some H3 LED's for $2.99, so we'll see how those work.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I've been watching your car come along too, great job on tackling the rust.

I forgot to add, when I put the fog lights on at first, they started shorting only when the bumper was mounted to the car. I found out the positive/negative wires were swapped on the light housings, so the housing was being energized instead of grounding. I just swapped the wires in the plug and all is well.

Thanks man. Fogs look sweet, and putting them in was easier than I expected even with the wiring issues. I'm thinking about spraying some nightshade over the foglight covers. Either that or plasti-dip, not sure yet.

Got my LED lights in for daytime running lights.

The yellowish color of the fogs just doesn't look right with the LED's

Thanks dude! I guess they're just prone to having problems, glad you got it fixed. I have my fair share of quick fixes that are still holding up

I got some new switches wired in for my LED under dash lighting, my fog lights, and my DRL's. I need to get a picture of my interior lighting, I don't reallly have any good pics. Also I fixed my projector bow, but my driver's side light just went out. Need to see if it's the bulb or ballast. I'll get some good output pics when it's all done.

#332231 Man your coupe looks really clean. Also do the Night Shades on the fog light covers. That's what I did with mine when I got em. :thumb:

Thanks, and yeah I think I will do that, I want it darker but I like the fresnel look.

Finally got my lip installed. I used 3M double sided tape along the top but it didn't stick well, so I used 3 screws. I want to replace the screws with something that doesn't stand out as much. But all in good time...

#332262 My fog lights have been giving me more issues, my battery kept draining and at first I wasn't sure why but I realized the fogs weren't turning off. So I took out the fuse and they still stayed on! I was super confused and just unplugged the lights for a few days until I looked closer at it and found this:

Image

The red wire coming from the battery (before the in-line fuse) was shorting with the blue wire, which is the positive to the lights. It's lucky this happened up under the hood and not in the cabin, it could have been a lot worse. The full length of the blue wire was shot. It took me a while to get it seperated from the ground wire.

I replaced it with new wire, put it back in the wire loom and it's all good now.

And a few more pics :D
