but with the jdm d15bvtec, u might have some cop trobles

but if u wanna stay lokey and keep the cops off ur back stay single cam

more in the fontan, pomona area, the cops know the diffrence
theyre trained to know what there looking at, so u can say ohh this and that, the cop isnt stupid, in some case he prob knwow more then the person he pulls over

but cops do know what there look at, but some just dont care

but why they care is the jdm motors are illegal due to emissions
even tho we buy em wit usdm manifolds and usdm ecu.. this state sucks cuz that

but thats why im sayin go z6, cuz u have a ej1 or 2? either doesnt matter
if u got the ej2(dx) the z6 was a option in the ej1(ex) so u can up grade with having to go to the bar or the refs and u wont have any troubles smoging the car :thumb:

no need to go fast, the 500-600$ ticket ur gonna get popped with isnt fun

but as long as u stay single cam ur good, the cops might hassle wit the jdm motor, but the z6 is str8, so its all up to you, the z6 is 125hp and the d15bv is 130 with better tq

- Tue Feb 08, 2011 3:55 am #237530 yeah i know...thats why i wanna go with the d15b just cause of that.. but i got a hold of that dude with the d16z6 with a lsd tranny so i think imma go that route.. hes confident of nothing wrong so imma barrow the motor till i get the cash. which is cool. an he owes me like 20.00 so ill be getting the motor for 280.00 everything complete...

- Wed Mar 09, 2011 8:35 am #243104 ok so heres an update .. i went with another d16z6 engine with about 86k on it.. an here are some pix LMK what you guys think..not gonna keep the valve cover though.. i got a y8 valve cover..the one that says HONDA on the top.. also gonna spray it wrinkle black and leave the honda letters polished.. pix up when i get it back.. also gonna do my side markers maybe this week as well... enough of that. here are some pix:
