- Sun Oct 21, 2012 11:28 pm #318345 well did some more work on the interior today, managed to get my third breaklight rewired up, last owner cut that for a spoiler light... :thumbdown: didnt take pics of that but i got some new minty seats in from the other shell(back set) just needed some cleanin up

thats pretty much it for now, still gotta button up the brakes and refurb the calipers, couple other things here and there, put the steering in, and then finish the interior, and drop the motor in...

on a side note anyone know where the hell this came from?!?! i am fairly sure its a ground...but where it goes i have no idea...any help?

anyway with that out of the way, im going to a machine shop to have them remove the axle tomorrow, and then i gotta get some fluids, and drop the motor in :thumb:

- Mon Oct 29, 2012 8:40 pm #318832 yay got my axle out and made some room in our ghetto ass little garage, which is where the motor has been sitting so hopefully today we can get that in and at least hooked up, still need to get some fluids and a few other misc peices, and hook up the brakes but other than that she should be ready by this weekend if all goes well, will get as many pics as possible to keep you guys updated :thumb:

- Tue Oct 30, 2012 5:53 am #318846 so we got an 18 pack of pbr and decided to crack down on this bitch, pic as promised, didnt get as far as i wanted but we got her set to top dead center, 3 mounts connected and everythings going smooth, going to pick up where we left off tomorrow afternoon

interior is 100 percent minus seat covers lol

- Tue Oct 30, 2012 5:03 pm #318864 thank you, without and engine leveler this was such a painstaking task of using a jack underneath and the hoist to get it all lined up and not catch the intake mani or rear tranny mount on anything lol..but we got it in and at least held in place till i can get the other mounts on, then we realized the axles wouldnt fit thru the coil forks, so i have to figure out how to get them in now...any ideas?

- Wed Oct 31, 2012 4:17 am #318907 well guys its comin along fantastic, got the motor in all 5 mounts bolted up, just gotta put the axles, harness, and some fluids in and do the brakes, then i should be good to go, i didnt get pictures, because the wife took the camera :thumbdown: and its now dark out, so ill get some tomorrow i promise lol, on another awesome note, i became an uncle today, my brother finally had his little girl Zoe, im happy to be a dad, and an uncle lol...by far the best day i have had in a long while, and i start work on thursday so hopefully i can start another project and do it right this time, keep this ugle thing as a daily lol. i just want to thank all you guys for the support and wisdom you have bestowed upon me the last few months, without you here, and a few good freinds locally i would not have come this far with my car, again ill have some pics tomorrow, and ill likely have some questions because its been almost a year since this thing has been running so be tuned in for more :thumb:

now comes the the questions

does anyone know if this looks right, seems like to much slack in the throttle cable

and does anyone know where this connects too, it comes off the intake mani near the passenger side bottom of the mani itself(and yess i know that vtec plug is broken, got a spare to put on ust havent yet)

and what the hell is this nipple on the intake mani for? again passenger side.

thats about as far as i have gotten in 3 days, went from nothing in the bay to this, just want to get these 3 questions cleared up before i got and wire it all up, any help will be greatly appreciated :thumb: i still need to put my shift linkage in, exhause, the axles, swap callipers, hook up the breaks, put the dizzy back on after i set it to top dead center, spark plug wires, and fluids, then besides that the motor and suspension will be done, then i just have to adjust my drivers door so it doesnt sag lol, other than that some flat black paint on the rest, general clean up and we should be good to go, i have to be at work tomorrow and friday from 9:30am to 3:30 pm so my timeline wasnt met but im proud of how far i have come in the last week and a half, thanks again for all the support and wisdom you guys gave me without you i wouldnt have been able to get this done :D
