#293072 Lol i know i said nowt for car til house is sorted, (basically just need 2x wardrobes, 2x chest of drawers, 55" tv, xbox, sky and some curtains)......

but these were dirt cheap, couldnt resist, so i had to have them.

Not to sure but think their Wolfrace?
4x100 195/45/R15
Im guna clean them up and see exactly what condition they are in. Tyres are pretty good.
Anythings better than stock steelies.

#293940 Heres a quick pic from the other day of the rims fitted after they went in the shower lol, ill take better ones once ive cleaned it and sorted rear lca's out.

Image

Anyway, today i made a start on one rear corner. And if you aint seen it yet, this is what i was up against. A snapped lower shock bolt (bothsides) i grinded ends off, and a rounded lca bolt.

Image

Ive basically had to anglegrind through the rubber bush to the bolt to remove the lca.

Image

And the new lca against the old tired one, and trial fitted.

Image
Image

The aftermarket (secondhand) shocks were knackered, as whole car was bobbing up and down, side to side like a old american car. So ive removed them and thrown the yellow shocks out but kept red springs, and fitted them to my stock shocks. Ive already done the front two weeks ago, ill be starting the other side tomorrow so if all goes well the suspention will be safe and connected up again. Im not fitting the ajustable parts to my kit just yet as i dont want to mess it up, but front and rear adjusting parts will be put on and sorted once i get my new coilovers and strut braces.

#294090 Well restarted this morning at 9am after swapping springs round on rear shock.
Image

And this was the tence point, as other side rounded and gad to be cut.
Image

Luckily the bolt was kind lol, so it was cleaned up, copper greased and re used.
Image

So, other rear shock was sorted out and everything was reattached, tightened and rear of civic is now safe again.
Image
Image

And seeing as front mudguards catch on every speedbump, ive removed all four.

So if anyone's interested, i have a full set lying around.

Induction kit half fitted, as came with another piping part and looks like it goes just behind corner of front bumper
Image

New steering wheel arrived, just waiting on the boss kit
Image

And fitted the 60mm drop springs aswell. As i didnt know how low car was before, i was guessing around 35/40mm current drop. thought it would look even lower but i was wrong :( its only ended up being about half an inch lower. Defo need to get them coilovers as its just not low enough lol

After

And im now starting the saving up for the BOOST, but if a B18 comes up just before i get the turbo setup, ill be going b-series first, then turbo.

And ive still got to fit the ITR rear seat bench, but ill put that off til i get the black recaros to match
