I wired them that way because that's how I like them.
Every factory side marker is wired to be off then come on, mine is on, then blinks off and back on, etc.

i like the way you have it wired...i would want them to come on with the running lights... but yeah what's up with the cop

My friend and I were out taking a few photo's, and we stopped at this gas station, and seen this cop and we thought it would be cool to get a picture of our cars and a cop car

If you can, have someone there that has at least a little experience with something like this.
Take your time, especially on the oil lines, make sure you get your oil drain fitting welded into to the pan at a good location otherwise there could be problems. and make sure to teflon tape/teflon glue stuff/hondabond all the oil feed line fittings and the oil drain line fittings.
