Cleaned up the bay a little:





Pulled the ls out of the garage:


Removed exhaust manifold:




Nothing like the feeling when you got the motor to hold by itself :




Valve cover off again, changing valve cover gasket:



Then I broke a stud :


PS pump, belt and resovoir in:


And last pic i got before sun went down:


Also got a new trunk, and put the front end on and pretty happy with my timing considering I did it all by myself (5hrs). Needless to say, I'm tired and ready to just see this thing moving.

- Sat Mar 24, 2012 6:41 pm #299652 Got shift linkages in, rear mount in, and axles in. its 98% done. just waiting on my harness from rywire and fluids and she'll be ready to crank. Only problem is my passenger side rotor isnt spinning freely. Hoping Its not a big deal.

shhhh, you cant blow my summer build plans lol. I appreciate it. Im enjoying this car more then any other car I've owned...and I havent eve driven it yet.

1) PS pump doesnt line up.

2) Passenger side axle wont turn.

Other then that she's ready to go. Any help on how to fix these things?

- Fri Mar 30, 2012 12:53 am #300345 Back from the dead. Had some time to touch the car so I did, everything is wired up and functioning properly excluding the corner lights but I cant get this oil filter off. All it needs is fluids and It'll be ready for its first test start up.

Buut since its being complicated I cleaned the interior and removed the tint

- Wed Apr 04, 2012 7:59 pm #300946 Took the car for a test drive today. Everything is perfect, no smoke, leaks or anything. All I need now is tags and insurance. Then I can try and work on looks like my first ej.

Brother had some eibach springs on his eg until he bought my koni/gc setup so I threw those on my car until he ordered his own set and I can buy the koni/gc setup back.



Battery was dead, but heres how she sits now:



Friend jumped in the pic and ruined it lol he owns a gsr swapped hatch with b16 trans, pretty quick:
