got her pressue washed and sanded down over the weekend and im getting tired mounted on my new favorite wheels on thursday

- Mon Jul 16, 2012 3:45 am #311056 got the tires mounted, wheels painted, hammered a few things out of the way in the fender wells, pulled the front fenders a little so i could turn, put the wheels on, stared at them for awhile lol, dialed in the ride height a bit, and i am painting the car this week

wouldnt mind going but thats a hell of a distance to drive not knowing if your going to get stuck on something or not

plus im going to the beach with the misses that weekend. maybe next year!

got it all painted up but im waiting to unwrap it till tomarrow because of the high humidity.

Centerline wheels in 4x100 13x5.5 et30
175/70/13 tires all around


the only markings i could find. other than the centerline stickers of course










pretty grimey


used some dish soap and purple power a few times and got all the grease off. but the chrome is pretty far gone

used steel wool on the insides and got the chrome to come out surprisingly well.

tires mounted up. i used the 2 good ones from the blue steelies and got 2 brand new ones. all 4 mounted and balanced with 2 new tires all for $100

painted the backside of the faces gloss black since you could see it from the outside and it looked terrible.

taped them up and sanded the hell out of the faces to get the surface as smooth as possible

not bad for a $310 wheel and tire setup

the back tires rub a little and i had to pull the front fenders and do some hammering in the wheel wells so i can actually turn but other than that i just bolted them on. i decided to skip center caps so the lugnuts really stand out

12 cans of Krylon can make a hell of a change.

its far from perfect. theres still rust(and its getting worse), dings, dents, front end isnt lined up, ect.

its always been a 20/20 car. looks good from 20 feet away or driving past at 20mph

no fancy camera yet so i did my best with the camera i have. most pics are without the plate, squirters, and the whipper because when i got home to unwrap it storms were on the way and i wanted to get pictures quick i didnt get a chance to put that stuff on before the rain.

its now as low as it can get while still being daily drivable.

i got a few small updates in the works. new cam cover, covered door panels, and some other little odds and ends to dress it up and snaz up the bay a bit.
