#151248 thanks...and i'm planning on doing the body and paint work next spring when i hopefully get done with school and have a job :thumb:

i got a tuning appt in one week! :woot: so i need to put in my clutch, break it in a little bit and head down and tune for 14psi with the 450's... found a guy locally to resurface my flywheel during the week but i have a midterm and paper due on monday which sucks!!!!!!

also, i'm going to order a new drain flange so hopefully it won't leak.

man, your tellin me... it's alright though it only took about 2 hours with my roommate helping me. i'm stoked to see what this will put down as well, im estimating about ~260whp which would be kickass :thumb:

the only other thing i have to do is track down an oil leak that seems to come from no where...... :?

here is my shiny re-surfaced flywheel (actually found someone to do it on a saturday)

Its Raining crazy up here too. Hope you have a covered area to work on your civic under. Sucks to hear about the oil leak. Hopefully its something easy to fix.

Look forward to more update.

#151508 Where is it dripping from? There's only a few points on the engine where oil can leak from.

Progress looks good thus far, dude man. Keep it up.

yeah man, i have a garage with pretty much all the tools i need here down at college which is pretty neat considering most people can't do this type of shit :thumb:

i think my front main is leaking again but my crankshaft is grooved so who knows, i'm tired of chasing oil leaks so it's going to leak lol...

think the lower rad hose is leaking water at the thermo housing too...tisk *tisk*

thanks man... ya know i would like to think the same thing but it seems like it's just going places that confuse me, will try to snap some pics

anyway, i got the clutch in today and drove it, it seems a bit softer than my stage 1 which is weird considering the 6 puck. it does grab like a bitch however, hope it holds :fingerscrossed:

#152737 alright! so dyno day was on friday and here are the results:

233whp/212ft-lbs @ ~13psi ---> my injectors were hitting 100% duty cycle so that is as much as i could squeeze out which is fine with me :thumb:

Image

i also replaced the drain last night to a much bigger 5/8" fitting:

Image

even managed to tilt the pan fitting which is :woot:
Image

Image

the bottom end is lookin sexy still !
Image

the oil temps are lower and pressure is higher as a result of the fitting change...

on a different note: this turbo sounds so cool when it spools up, i went 60-100 in prolly <5 sec on the freeway coming back

#152739 Nice numbers dude! NEED MOAR FUEL!

Lower oil temps is always a good thing, too. Nothing but good coming from this build thread.

x2 Nice Numbers. However you need bigger injectors. Thats about where I was with Nitrous on my z6.

I look forward to seeing this coupe agian at our next meet.

thanks man! i know i need more fuel... at 11.0AFR with 450's they were hitting 100% duty at high rpm/boost, so it's running nice and rich :woot:

yeah man i hope we can meet up pretty soon, we need to figure that out whether it be t-day or over x-mas..... i used to have nitrous and i definitely like the way boost feels and sounds (the whistle and bov takes the cake) :thumb: i can't imagine nitrous with that much of a kick in the pants

i have a MUCH better and nice flat torque curve so the car feels much solid than it used to... it pulls like a mofo and spins the tires through second once it starts putting down the power, i'm going to enjoy this for a while and just fix what breaks lol.....(hopefully)
