Ya, I'm getting excited.
Once the pistons show up, I can run the block and pistons to the machine shop and get that squared away. Just playing the waiting game.

Valves showed up yesterday! Pistons showed up today!
I'll be running the block, crank, rods and pistons down to the machine shop to get everything cleaned up and the block bored/honed. I'll ship the had out tomorrow.
Machine shop said the block will be done Monday, so I'll probably pick it up Tuesday. I was hoping to have the shortblock assembled this weekend, but oh well.

Golden Eagle cam gears, Decided to get these since the SRR's were sooo hard to read when degreeing. My blind friend should appreciate it. LOL
I'll be running the block, crank, rods and pistons down to the machine shop to get everything cleaned up and the block bored/honed. I'll ship the had out tomorrow.

decided to use a helicoil to fix my stripped slave mounted holes. worked well!

Top ring gap X 1.25 for second ring

Derek from DDtech sent me the specs for my new cams. They're based off rocket motorsports m24xx's but are specd a lil diff.

Intake .488/272 Exhaust .472/262
OPEN 28 BTDC; CLOSE 53 ABDC -Intake
OPEN 61 BBDC; CLOSE 21 ATDC -Exhaust

got it running. had a few run ins w/leaks and shit. but alls settled now!
ended up buying a full set of the new updated LMAs through auto fair honda on HT/nwp, got those in and got the longblock assembed, and cams degreed. my wife and i put the motor in that night, i was too excited.
also changed the header from a PLM hytech rep to a PLM toda rep. short vid of it idling.
tuned on the low cam on the street...
made a quick change to the interior, added a stack tach, something ive wanted to do for quite awhile and finally did it. i love it! so simple!
incredibily loud. currently only a 3" resonator and a turn down, going to pick up another resonator and try to route the exhaust to dump in front of the rear LCA.
picking up an exedy hyper single (mostly because its cheap) to keep on hand if the exedy stage 1 fails. also need to pick up a new wideband, my AEM unit sucks for datalogging w/S300. i guess theres a reason hondata recommends using something else... oh well.
