#64253 Crankshaft doesn't really matter unless you want a balanced and blue printed crank that along with correct rods, pistons, and valve train allow the engine to rev higher than stock. But when your talking about just boost pressures, the only things that really matter for higher boost are first pistons, followed by rods, and cylinder sleeve durability.

You first would want to upgrade to forged pistons, stronger than oem, can handle higher boost pressures.

Also forged rods to withstand the stronger force produced with boosting.

If you're only talking about a max of about 15 lbs of boost, you can go with a block guard, although make sure it is the type that allows coolant flow. Boost levels higher than 15 lbs, than you have to go with re-sleeving to ductile iron sleeves. But if your thinking of taking it that far, I would seriously consider upgrading to a DOHC.
