#62037 Ok, so after continuation of completing my vitara build. I got the downpipe done, adjusted the fuel pressure ( DSM blue tops for break in ) to 48 PSI. Double checked timing and I cant get this son of a bitch to idle. It will run with about a 1/3 throttle but as soon as i let of the throttle it dies.

Anyone have any ideas. I am using a factory P28 PCM with the factory tuning on it just for break in them i'm going with CROME for the actual drive and such.

I'm getting so discouraged right now, this is my first turbo d-series build. I have done the ZC build with spray and never had problems like this.

Factory Z6 cam, Eagle H Beam rods, the rotating assembly has been balanced and i'm using Vitara Pistons. Its a turbonetics t3/t4 evolution turbo with matching 38mm waste gate.

Truly, i am out of ideas. It doesnt shake like i'm missfiring, if I hold the throttle to about 900 RPM it sounds just like the idle as if it were N/A. I'm sure i'm missing something stupid and easy but I can think of it right now.

Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

Mat

#62060 stock fuel pump?
your going to need more than that for those 450s, especially once you get it tuned.
not sure how well a stock p28 will run on turbo setup w/o some kind of fmu

#62077 no, its a Walbro 255.
I've already got my RC-1200's. I wasn't sure if they would be too much fuel for only 9lbs of boost for the break in period. So i put in the 450's to get the break in done. What would you reccommend for fuel pressure then?
As for it idling, I got it to remotely idle. its a bit low, but it turned out to be the IAC wires slightly came out of the connector ( never have i seen this before ) and were not making connection very well. So I re-pinned the IAC and it idles but not very well. Kind of choppy, but everything is brand new and or 100% cleaned and maybe not adjusted ( like the throttle stop ).
Tomorrow when I get up i'll be adjusting a few things to see what the outcome will be.
