No, P2P is for a d16y8 OBD2. LS ecus are: P74, P75, and PR4.

#276121 so for my list i have so far..
-transmission (not sure what is best...any inputs would be great :thumb:)
-forged pistons and rings
-forged rods and bearings
-full gasket set
-clutch/flywheel
-ecu (whats the best one for my set up??)
-plugs/wires
-headers
-motor mounts
-head studs
-axles
-wire harness (i was told i can use my d15b7 harness...is this true?..and what else is needed? adapters? etc)

if i am missing anything pleas add on and if any one has suggestions on brands or where to get all of this from that would be great

and like i said this is to just get it running...anything to do with head like cams, valve springs, retainers, etc etc will be replaced after the motor is in the car considering it is easy enough to work on the head while it is still in the car unlike trying to do pistons and rods....which is why i want to get that out of the way as quick as possible

#278201 If you are running high horsepower numbers then sure use a ls tranny if not use a gsr transmission.

depends what he's trying to do with the car. If you plan on drag racing, the GSR gears are too short.

when mine was still NA, the fastest it ever ran was 14.78 @ 93 on my LS tranny. with the exact setup with my current trans (GSR gears with ITR LSD w/ 4.785 final) best i got it to go was a 14.82 @ 92 with multiple attempts on different nights

for a 7k revving LS going in a straight line, the LS tranny is best. ESPECIALLY once we're talking boost. now if you're trying to autox, then yes, the Vtec transmissions are your friend with the short gears.

I think my car could be dabbling with 11's if i didn't have to Shift into 5th before the 1000' mark..

well im trying to see the best for all situations considering it WILL be a DD, i will def be drag racing and i would like to do some auto x.....and this will be a turbo setup....so i would guess the LS trans would be my best bet...but im not too sure...still very new to the whole trans and gear ratio thing
