Means z1 VX engine with D16z6 short block, z6IM moded for EGR, z6TB. My goal is to keep the econemy mode with a little bit more displacemend and a higher compression! I'm not hunting for high hp#, but if i'll get close to the 120ehp i'm happy! It's still a daily driver and fuel is getting pretty expensive here in germany!

The head is going to be ported and milled by .002''. Disassembled bouth engines and started cleaning.

- Sun Jan 25, 2009 6:11 pm #92288 Last week I had my z1 head in the Computertomograph to see how the ports are shaped and if there are some cracks. The head is in perfect condition!

Here you can see the slight difference between the swirl (lower in port) and the non swirl port (upper in port)




I'd like to know where can i take some material off to get better flow? bowl etc.
