body was decent so i had to buy it.

I also purchased a B18 and a B16 head.
will be doing an L/S Vtec build aswell.

Here are some pics of what im working with.

will be starting the engine swap this weekend.

would have had it in sooner but he had alot of small issues.

started off cleaning the new engine.






Here are some last pics of the old D15B7




all the connections and lines and mounts came off easily
axles were harder.we could not budge the wheel bearing nuts!


so we used a bar


then broke 3 drives and 1 breaker bar!!!!




called it a day then, cause we broke all the tools
then got bored an added some NOS



next day we got the nuts off, chilseld one out and the other with a new bar

old drive shafts


rotors are rusty








Then Tadahh! the engine is in!




not totally done but its in.
need to get some parts:
Exhaust manifold
Throttle Body
Alternator
and need to figure out something with the lower engine mount
We broke the inside nuts off inside the frame.
so the bolts are still in but just spin around?
maybe weld the engine mount in for good?

the engine is up and running.
got the timing and stuff figured out.
runs great and pulls hard!

getting some exhaust work done today. i think my header is cracked where it bolts into the block? im blowing exhaust from around there?
rear hangers are also a problem on the muffler.

dust cover is rubbing on the rotor. and some other small problems i have to fix today.
ill get pics up at the end of the day! i had a siiiiick idea to do the rising sun flag on the passenger side quarter over the last guys bad body work job. sooooo i did it! looks damn good

picked up some MOMO wheels for a REALLY good price.


i believe this one is the rare Benetton F1 Wheel. i thinks its worth a few bucks$$$$


but ill be going with the wood one for now.





got out to take some pics and it was cloudy
some body work is started. someone has filled it with bondo before me

a shot of my muffler

now since im not painting it for a bit i decided to cover up the bad body work with a Rising Sun thing i taped off and sprayed one night

i kinda like it so its staying for now
