This is something else i picked up. A skunk2 weighted shift knob. Makes a world of difference, even with shitty bushings. 8)

- Wed Jun 09, 2010 2:09 pm #199438 is that radar detector have 360 degree range? if so you may want to put it a bit higher, they have to be able to "see" out of all windows. Just something i read from cobra detectors.

- Sun Jun 13, 2010 10:23 pm #200199 No its not a 360 degree one. It is just a normal one. And yesterday my car PASSED INSPECTION! I had to install new axles and fill the rust with bondo to pass :thumbdown: But next weekend it is getting cut out and replaced. The axle got stuck on the halfshaft and i could not get it apart. We even tried a press and a slap hammer and couldnt get it. So i had to get my boy to bring me a new one and put the new axles in. I just drove it 456 miles with no problems. Tomorrow i head home. Ill grab some pics of the car in the next few days. :thumb:

- Sun Jun 20, 2010 2:52 am #201201 Took the car to the track yesterday. Got two low 14's passes out of it before tragedy struck. I was launching at 4k, this time i tried 4.5k and it didnt work out well. Here is the carnage :thumbdown:

*note: the axle nut was torqued loose when it happened*

So overall, not a very good evening. I was aiming for high 13's on the azenis but well have to wait to see what happens. Thank god it was just an axle and NOT my diff...

Thanks man :thumb: im thinking about going boost but im not sure yet. i replaced the axle today and will be hitting the track again in the next few weeks 8)

I replaced the snapped axle and realized my wheel bearing is shot. So that is getting replaced soon. Having no money ftl! But once i get some work done i will update you guys :thumb:
