I'm trying to make the engine bay look good since that's all I can do so far.

When I ran a MSD setup I didn't want to clutter up my tucked bay, so I bought an extended coil to cap wire that allowed me to mount the coil on the inside of the firewall. :thumb: I since went back to OEM ignition I don't need it anymore if you're interested LMK.

I'm interested!

#278348 Update: changed spark plugs

Decided to change my spark plugs since I didn't know how long ago they were changed

Here's pics of the spark plugs that came out. Cylinder 1 starting from left

Cylinder 1 starting from right

All the spark plugs that came out look identical like this.

According to the last pic the heat range is too cold, the air/fuel ratio is too rich, and porcelain looks to be that there is a timing issue.

This is a web page that has some simple info on how to read spark plugs: http://www.4secondsflat.com/Spark_plug_reading.html

My idle was perfect when I got the car. So it really didn't do anything to the idle. What I noticed is that it started up quicker compared to the stock igntion components and had a lil more pull in the top end of the RPM range according to my butt dyno :)

The only real advantage of the MSD is when you turbo your car. It helps ignite the combustion mixture better.

But from what a whole bunch of forums are saying the stock ignition is pretty damn good at doing its job.

#279861 Here's a lil update...can't do much Christmas up coming up. Plus i'm going to California for two weeks to do some work.

So I just vacuumed my car...it looks so much better without dirt. Still gotta clean all that dust/lint...those things are everywhere and hard to clean up.

Then I decided to change this

To this...I got tired of calculating kmh to mph in my head.

#280040 Are u in Cali?? I heard of that. You can't have anything obstructing the Plate..Kinda dumb cause you can still see the numbers/letters. Did you get a ticket or just a warning?
