#61925 great picture! please get a real cold air intake, trust me; there will be a difference in your lower rpm regions in torque. This is robbing you of easy made horsepower...even if you have a good filter...

btw; love the cutouts in the cover!!

nothing at all, but in the picture I see an open filter in your hot engine bay.......and that's what robs you of power...

#61931 feed it cold air, Niels has a carbon right J's racing bumper vent left over ,which he may be willing to sell. hook up a hose through the hole behind your right headlight and it'll do her good..... :thumb:

#61934 yea, im just scared because the reason I have a mint civic coupe shell in my yard is because the guy that owned the car hydro locked his engine with a cold air intake. So its not worth the risk for a daily driven car for me anyways.

usually a good cold air intake is hidden from moist and dirt by your oem inner fender liner and the bumper. Unless you use your civic to fish for lobster, I'm pretty sure that for 99,9999999% your engine will not see any damage from water. Most systems, like the oem honda have a reversal chamber that keeps out the water. but hey.....if she runs good, why change it anyway.......your car looks great and has great engine..I like it!

#61942 I prefer using the SRI to a CAI myself, it develops a better sound, and prevents hydrolocking as well.

true, but an airbox or cold air intake will give you more power...

#69325 quick update

I still haven't got my exhaust :x so I canceled the order and re ordered one from a different company, that one is suppose to be in tomorrow so Im happy about that :) I have had a stock Type R muffler on the car for a couple weeks now until I got the Apexi.

Recent engine parts installed, was the 68mm skunk 2 tb, also putting the car on the dyno this month to get everything running good again before I store the car up for the winter in a couple months.

Front bumper is going in for paint soon, it was damage a couple weeks ago from some dumb fuck backing up into it when I had it parked :x I was lucky it wasn't serious damage, he basically just spider cracked the paint and scratched it really bad, either way it was $800 in damages because my paint is tri coat

Next on the list is lca's, asr subframe and a cf front lip.

recent pic of my eg and the bfs sir
