bks84 wrote:the only bolt I'd be worried about torquing is the 12mm stud/bolt (20lb ft). Ive never had an issue just getttin the others tight by hand.

also those outer studs are the same on LS motors (and apparently the same on some D series engine, hence the PM7 part number), so you might have been able to save some cash just running to the junkyard.

Glad you stripped that valve cover, thing was just awful.

I need to take off the cam cover which requires all those bolts to be re-torqued. Don't want my cam flying off at 8K+ RPM.

Nice to know about LS motors and D-series engine share the same part. There is a bunch of Honda motors at my Junk yard. I found 2 D16Y6, 1 H22A4, and a H22A2. Too bad I don't have the cash right now to buy a motor.

That valve cover color was long overdue. I needed to get all the supplies first.

If your valve cover "flies" off, you got other problems son!

#331693 On May 11, 2013 My friend let me drive his 240SX w/SR20DET and I let him drive my civic.

So as we were leaving work I went first. Then I wanted to see my car so I went on the outside lane and he slowly crept up. I didn't realize how low my car was till I was watching it drive by. Even my friend looked real low in the driver seat.

As he drove by I saw my quarter panel :x My car hasn't been painted for over a year too (July 2012). My friend didn't do this to my car because I watched him in the my rear view mirror.

There was an empty parking spot on the right side of my car before we left work. The person who did this just did a hit and run and didn't even leave a note or anything.

On a positive note I Installed my turbo

You should get a GoPro...My wife got mine on Father's day for me.

I edited it for those squares.

I hope the person who hit my car gets his car fucked up...I just said to my friend "karma will take care of him"

#332011 Today I turned in my car to get a safety inspection.

I handed over my keys and car @ 11:45AM. Got a call @ 5:07PM (5+ HOURS LATER) saying that my car had failed due to headlights not properly aimed and a leaky exhaust

It seems like every time I do my safety inspection they always get me for my headlights. They always adjust it!

They said that my exhaust (cat-back flange) is rusty and is missing one bolt. The flange is about to tear itself off from the pipe. Too bad I couldn't get a picture.

Here are the papers

I also got 2 195/50R15 Kumho Ecsta AST installed while they did my safety inspection. Ordered both of them from Discounttiredirect.com for less than $150 shipped with valves and road hazard replacement certificates

#332025 Got my exhaust fixed and car safety inspected.

The car is too quiet for me now(its weird)...it feels like it doesn't pull as much as before now. But when VTEC engages I can definitely hear it from the muffler.

#333436 My AC wasn't as cold as it use to be on a very hot day. I took her in for some servicing.

They recovered my R-134a and found out it only had like 1 pound of it. My system requires like 20 some ounces. So it leaked slowly for over a year. We found out it was leaking from my shraeder valve (spelled right?).

#333758 Ordered something from Crutchfield. Now my music sounds cleaner and definitely can play louder. I have the front channels hooked up to my front speakers. The rear channels are bridged to my 12" sub. The head is powering the rear speakers. I'm just need to buy a 500 watt amp for my other sub. The sub I got in the car is rated a 200rms.

Decided to paint my front grill and it decided to rain in the middle of me painting it
