beeaaauuutiful manifold man, love the way it came out, pretty sweet to nab the only one they have (so far). what's up with the grainy pics, or is that on purpose?
so what's left, injectors, ic core and chip ecu, map sensor?
rock on dude, when do you think you'll be drivable?

Thanks to everyone for the kind words
I duuno about the pics, i dropped my camera right before those pics and i think i messed it up.
IC core, build end tanks, build down pipe and dump tube, finish wiring the MSD to my clutch switch, i have injectors, just need to wire in the new clips. I got the new bosch/injector dynamics 1000cc's. Need to wire in the new MAP sensor, AEM 5bar. And purchase Hondata s300, but i can pay for that whenever, since my tuner has them instock always. Plus likes to help me out by letting me take stuff and pay for it later
Hopefully be driving mid september. There is an IFO (import face off)event/race in Vegas the second week in october, and i'd really like to attend
But if i end up getting an Exospeed 3-piece front end, it's going to take longer, thanks to body work, prep, and then paint, then putting the car back together.

nice exhaust set up
now all you need is a video of fire shooting out of it

your car is your story, dont let someone else write the book.

Dude. I've never been a D-series guy, or had much respect for the D-series as a huge power maker, but that is simply awesome.
I hope you don't take this wrong, but coming from an aircraft mechanic, you might want to put a little more space between the steel of the fender and the exhaust stack you have there. Mofo is going to get hot. Quick. And I think your exit location would look even better if you weld the doubler to the fender.
If you want, I can snag some pull type rivets we use on airplanes and mail them to you. They're structural grade, and will hold better than the pop rivets in your coinslot fasteners and heat shield.

^^^ yeah dude that sounds like a good plan, shit is going to get hot right there, especially since it's the full exhaust being vacated so close to the turbine. i love the uniqueness man, such a cool and different d-series build!
one question, with the turbo that low in relation to the oil pan, how are you going to run the drain line?
