Well since i was removing my dash today I decided to do a couple DIY's
This diy is great for thsoe who dont want to fuss with trying to intall a radio with cut wires or just replacing the harness or even removing your dash (check out my other DIY for that)....
This DIY is rather simple and you really only need a phillips head screwdriver and a flat head a 10mm socket with extension....
First off remove the neg battery cable or both pos and neg....
Start with taking off the kick panel 3 phillips head screws, and the metal brace with 2 10mm bolts
Second take apart the the cluster trim bezel, and take out the cluster....radio etc....(the dimmer switch, mirror control unit, etc.....)
The reach behind the plastic area behind where the clutch sat and find a black wire which is a ground for the harness and pop it off....
Now comes the fun part start bringing up the p.side part of the harness being careful or not with the orange clips that hold the wires to the plastic....
Now that that part is done go to the fuse box you should easily see three plugs you need to unhook from the harness....
After doing this be carful once again paying close attention to the orange clips and bring it up through to the cluster area now this may take some time since there is a couple of areas where it may need to be helped along the way but just take your time and then your done.....
(picture dose nto show harness out because the previous owner ran the wires wrong.....hurray....
Pretty darn easy if you take your time and installation is the same but in reverse order....
