my car has the same problems, sometimes 1st n reverse doesn't pop into gear. when the tranny isn't warmed up, reving past 4.5k rpm and shifting to second fast grinds. think this will fix my problem? or is it the syncros


before changing out the seal for the tranny should i drain the tranny fluid first?

Might been what helped cause the issue. However your issue is now your syncro's. Dont fix it soon and you will need to replace your gear sets as well.

Before working on your transmission draining the oil is a good idea. better to drain in a pan then onto you when you under the car.

but i still got oil drippin. i tried cutting the spring around the oil seal

to griped more on the rod, but still no effect

my car is d15b jdm with p20 a000 tranny... iam not sure if i got the wrong

oil seal... are there any oilseal sizes to choose from?

please help...
