#324018 I've seen alot of people asking what they need for there swaps. So I am going to help everyone. this info is for everyone running a manual transmission. i have also added links for wiring, motor mounts, and axles.

*1st gen 89-91 JDM B16A, 92-93 Integra GS-R B17A, and 90-93 LS B18A

Transmission These engines come with Japanese or American market cable clutch
transmissions including S1, J1, A1, Y1 or YS1. To use them you will need a cable conversion
kit. Japanese or American market Y21, Y80, S80, S4C hydraulic clutch transmissions.
Mounts A combination of stock Civic and Integra mounts can be used if a hydraulic B-series tranny is used. You will need to change the bracket under the timing belt and on the rear of the engine for ones of the appropriate year or a mount kit with cable conversion included.
ECU Using non-OBD ECU is not a good idea. A PR3 from 92-93 Integra RSi or XSi, a P30 or modified P28 for a B16A a P61 or modified P28 for B17 or a 94-95 PR4 for B18A are acceptable.
Electrical differences CX and VX need to convert to 4 wire O2. Non VTEC models need VTEC solenoid and VTEC pressure. All models modify stock harness to fit, add knock sensor except when using chipped P28.
Axles 90 up Integra axles, 94-97 Del Sol VTEC axles or 99-00 Civic SI axles. Note: The intermediate shaft seal in the left side of the transmission is different for 90-93 Integra axles. Depending on axle transmission combo, it may have to be changed.
Shift linkage 94 up Integra linkage for Civics. 94-97 Del Sol VTEC linkage for Del Sol.
Upper Radiator hose For B16A and B17A use 94 Del Sol VTEC. For B18A use 94 Integra LS.
Lower Radiator hose 94 Del Sol VTEC.
Trottle cable B16A and B17A use 92 GS-R, B18A use 90 Integra LS
Clutch hydraulic Stock
Air conditioning 94-95 Del Sol VTEC AC bracket
Special instructions For 1st gen B16As , replace distributor with one from 92-95 GS-R or 94-97 Del Sol VTEC. For 90-91 B18As replace distributor with one from 92-95 Integra B18A or B18B. Injectors need to be replaced in both engines with ones from above models or from 92-95 Civic EX, SI, DX or LX.
Special considerations The 1st gen B16A engines are cheap, best bang for the buck. 92-93 B18As and GS-Rs have compatible electronics and make for an easy swap.

* 94-00 Integra LS B18B

Transmission These engines come with Japanese or American market Y21, Y80, S80, S4C hydraulic clutch transmissions.
Mounts A combination of stock Civic and Integra mounts can be used if a hydraulic B-series tranny is used. On some 96 and up engines you may need to change the bracket under the timing belt and on the rear of the engine for ones of the appropriate year.
ECU PR4 from 94-95 Integra
Electrical differences CX and VX need to convert to 4 wire O2. All models modify stock harness to fit.
Upper Radiator hose 94 Integra LS.
Lower Radiator hose 94 Del Sol VTEC.
Trottle cable 94 Integra LS.
Clutch hydraulic Stock
Air conditioning 94-95 Del Sol VTEC AC bracket
Special instructions Using OBD2 ECU requires involved wiring modifications. Generally, if the ECU you choose does not use the same plugs as the stock ECU, an adapter harness will cut down on a lot of potential problems.
Special considerations Nice motor, smog legal, and excellent base for turbo car. Smog legal in CA.

* 94-01 Integra GS-R b18c1 (including Type R) 93-00 B16A and 97-00 Civic Type R

Transmission These engines come with Japanese or American market Y21, Y80, S80, S4C hydraulic clutch transmissions.
Mounts A combination of stock Civic and Integra mounts can be used if a hydraulic B-series tranny is used. On some 96 and up engines you may need to change the bracket under the timing belt and on the rear of the engine for ones of the appropriateyear.
ECUUse ECU that came with the engine with proper modification to wiring. LS-VTEC should use modified VTEC ECUs.For 96 up engines either back date electronics and use appropriate OBD1 ECU or use adapter harness and make proper wiring modifications
Electrical differencesFor B18C add air intake bypass wiring. CX and VX need to convert to 4 wire O2. Non VTEC models need VTEC solenoid and VTEC pressure. All models modify stock harness to fit, add knock sensor except when using chipped P28.
Axles 90 up Integra axles, 94-97 Del Sol VTEC axles or 99-00 Civic SI axles. Note:The intermediate shaft seal in the left side of the transmission is different for 90-93 Integra axles. Depending on axle transmission combo, it may have to be changed.
Shift linkage 94 up Integra linkage for Civics. 94-97 Del Sol VTEC linkage for Del Sol.
Upper Radiator hose For engines with B16A head or Type R , use 94 Del Sol VTEC. For engines with B18C head, use 94 GS-R.
Lower Radiator hose 94 Del Sol VTEC.
Trottle cable For engines with B16A head or Type R , use 94 Del Sol VTEC. For engines with B18C head, use 94 GS-R. For engines with Type R head, use 98 Type R.
Special considerations US motors are smog legal as long as the motor is from the same or later year vehicle. Japanese Type R motors are very potent and wiring is relatively easy with ECU adapter harness. The B series engine swaps into these year vehicles are by far the easiest. There are Honda mounts available to bolt those engines directly in and the wiring is by far the simplest. the majority of people opt to put in a B18C, B16B OR 94 Del Sol VTEC and those bolt in directly using Del Sol VTEC mounts, The Del Sol mounts are the same as the 94 up Integra mounts with the exception of the AC bracket.

* 94-00 H22A, H23A Prelude and 96-00 F22 Accord engines

Transmission Aftermarket mounts are required
ECU Use ECU that came with the engine with proper modification to wiring. For 96 up engines either back date electronics and use appropriate OBD1 ECU or use adapter harness and make proper wiring modifications
Electrical differences CX and VX need to convert to 4 wire O2. Non VTEC models need VTEC solenoid and VTEC pressure. Add EGR solenoid and EGR valve except for VX. All models modify stock harness to fit, add knock sensor.
Axles Use 90 up Accord intermediate shaft with 90-93 Integra axles. To use the Prelude intermediate shaft a shorter left-hand axle with a female inner joint must be used. To construct the proper left-hand axle use 94 GS-R left-hand axle inner and outer joints on an 86-89 Integra axle shaft.
Shift linkage These transmissions use cables instead of linkage. The shifter mechanism and cables from these vehicles may be used, 90 up Accord 5spd or 92 up Prelude 5spd cables and linkage. This will require some cutting and drilling.
Upper Radiator hose 90 Integra LS. trim to fit.
Lower Radiator hose 94 Del Sol VTEC.
Trottle cable 98 Prelude
Clutch hydraulic Stock
Air conditioning Not without custom fabrication.
Special instructions The mounting bracket on the right-hand frame rail will need to be removed or it will interface with the shifter assembly. A thin fan or pusher fan will have to be used with the radiator. Radiator should be upgraded to a Del Sol VTEC radiator for increased cooling.
Special considerations Suspension and brake upgrades a good idea. The H22A is 175 to 185 lbs heavier than D-series drive trains and 85 lbs heavier than a B16a drivetrain.
