- Thu Dec 25, 2008 9:56 pm #85449 My friend Dustin decided to give me an 'axel back' exhaust, but my problem is that the box it was in said it was for a hatchback. I thanked him and said it wouldn't fit on my coupe, but he swears that just axel back fits, so I'm all around confused.

Is he right or am I right??

- Fri Dec 26, 2008 4:50 am #85528 Really? On an axle back? Isn't that just basically the muffler? Slide it under your car and take a look. There's a flange right there at the rear lower control arm... our cars don't have an axle.

- Fri Dec 26, 2008 9:16 am #85550 the angle where the axleback goes will clear the arm but the exhaust tip will be too short. You can get it extended at the muffler.
