#85449 My friend Dustin decided to give me an 'axel back' exhaust, but my problem is that the box it was in said it was for a hatchback. I thanked him and said it wouldn't fit on my coupe, but he swears that just axel back fits, so I'm all around confused.

Is he right or am I right?? :?

#85456 you're right, the hatch's will be too short.

#85528 Really? On an axle back? Isn't that just basically the muffler? Slide it under your car and take a look. There's a flange right there at the rear lower control arm... our cars don't have an axle.

#85538 IDK, it's just what he told me, and due to the weather, there's no sliding it under my car possible right now.

#85543 too short your going to have to extend the piping...or get one for a coupe... either way with out modding it it wont fit.

#85550 the angle where the axleback goes will clear the arm but the exhaust tip will be too short. You can get it extended at the muffler.

#85706 OIC. Well, I guess you could buy one of those screw-on exhaust tips or pay a muffler shop $20 to weld one on.
