#309524 Whenever I turn on my AC, my engine bogs down like it's putting a major strain on the engine. Sometimes even shuts it off. I tried cleaning the IACV but no luck. I have the ultra slow d15b8 so maybe it's just so weak that it can't handle the AC? Any ideas, guys?

#309525 Got this from an Accord Forum, but still answers your question.

"I would take the belt off the compressor and see what happens when you turn it on.

If the car has the same problems then you have a IACV problem

If it does not have the same problem then you have a problem with the compressor, likely bad bearings in the compressor."

Here is the link to the forum..

#309531 ^x2 the clutch bearing in the compressor might be bad, when you turn on the a/c the compressor is locked up and not spining, making the engine strain
