is a built motor reliable??
is it worth it?

- Thu Oct 28, 2010 9:25 pm #220546 well honda builds reliable engines now once you up the hp your reliability ends up well in the toilet once it gets really high depending on the tune of this car that is the key to your reliability if the owner can produce receipts of the parts labor and the tune etc because if they just bought a chip and said woot then i would walk away.....because a chip is mainly a cop out to tuneing and really dosent allow for teh best reliability and power since its built to one spec and to me every engine is unique....

price wise pretty much youd be paying for the engine and engine work the shell etc not a complete car in my book as thats what i see alot people chargeing 3k for a civic with a b series swap in it that has quarter rot etc...

depending on the condition id expect to shovel out between 4-8k for it which in my book you could find a stock civic swap it and be happy with it because built motors to me i dont trust them unless i have a hand in it somehow....

Skunk2 camshaft & adjustable cam gears, Skunk2 manifold, Super tech valves & springs, retainers, R.c 440cc injectors
Aluminum radiator, Bdl fuel rail,High end Racing Tri Race header 2" piping to a Es tuning muffler. Dyno Tuned on p28/ chrome @ 157tq 220whp by Erick's Racing..

Interior-
*Full 95' Gsr Clothes interior Front & back. Jdm wink mirror, Jdm door panels. Kenwood Cd/Mp3 player
6x9 Alpine speakers. Gather's rear plastic,no ps,ac Very clean!

Exterior-
*Stanly fogs lights, Jdm Corner lights, Side markers and rear taillights. Carbon fiber mugen rep wing, Jdm side power mirrors.

Wheels etc-
*Brand New Dunlop dz101 tires on steelies for now, Dropped on Ground control coilovers, Gsr big 4 disc brake set-up.Viper alarm, Brand new duralast battery.

$3500 This is a quick sale, i need this gone to make payments. Theres more then 3 grand in the motor alone.
Bad times for me now need this car sold.

- Thu Oct 28, 2010 9:44 pm #220554 for reliable transportation i think there could eb something wrong quick sales to me mean mechanics specials lol i mean parts on teh car alone if it is all true jdmness then he spent a shit ton on it or some of the parts are stolen(quite possibly) but yea just seems too good to be true i mean Hatchie spent 4k on his oe hatch with a d15 on it and had really no miles on it....so im thinking theres something not right here....but i could be wrong ive just had alot of bad deals in the past with CRX's and that has made me skeptical about car which isnt a bad thing just got to know what your looking for....
