vacuum leak???or is it something bigger

- Tue Apr 28, 2009 1:21 am #113601 hey guys/girls, something funny jus happened to the coupe today....i have a b18a in the car right now....when i started up the car, i noticed the car was running rough like the exhaust is hitting on something. but i was inspecting the exhaust routing and everythin seems fine. so i popped open the hood and rev it via the throttle body, and it will bog like it will stall. the noise seems to be coming from the alt/brake master cylinder area. i can still drive the car fine, but when i reverse it runs like somethin in the tranny is not working. while driving, at idle it will make distant noises right behind the gauge cluster. when im driving and shifting, it acts like a turbo car when the bov sounds off but the sound comes from the driver side wheel. anybody know what is causing this? im thinking it could be a vacuum leak but i could be wrong. any help would be great. thanks in advance :D

- Wed Apr 29, 2009 9:00 am #113866 nvm , you civic-eg pros...it turns out to be the motor mount, i just need to tighten it as the previous owner didnt tighten up the bolt when he left the my garage, he/she tigthten it half way thru...lols...

it was right in front of me and thats the last thing on my mind too....fukin ricer of me!!!! *sigh*
