#101156 Okay, I just started driving my car again after getting everything all working. I swapped in a Canadian cluster to replace the old one. I noticed just sitting in neutral that I cant rev above 5k rpm, and the same goes for while I am driving. This is all new since I got it back. It was working just fine before it was stolen. The cluster I have doesnt seem to have the bulb working for the CEL. I need to know how to replace that and what could possibly be going on with my car. I miss VTEC....

#101159 Did you check for a CEL code?

I don't know what the limp mode rev limit is on these, but that could be it.

#101467 Seriously?

Man, pull your cluster back out. Locate the bulb behind the CEL, twist and pull. :?

#101594 All i saw when I looked last time was the bulbs for the lights. The ones everyone changed to amber. I also need to take out the SRS light. I dont have an airbag anymore and its getting annoying. The next chance i get to get over to the car I will pull it out and look at it again. Its been a while and I dont quite remember how it looks. Thanks for the help suspended.

Any ideas on the rev limit problem? Without me checking codes?

#101600 I had a similar problem when the O2 sensor was going bad in my car, but at a lower rpm, when I'd hit about 3k the car would start to sputter and I couldnt go over 3k. the bad O2 sensor was sending false readings to the ECU and it caused a rev limiter like reaction at higher RPMs

not sure if that's whats going on with your car, but that's an experience I had

I just unplugged the sensor until I had a chance to buy a new one and the car ran fine with it unplugged, just very rich

#101760 I just checked the codes after I played musical lights with my cluster.all my missing bulbs were in places that didnt need lights. ODD. But I have it worked out now and I got the following CEL codes.

41 - Primary o2 sensor heater
16 - Fuel Injectors
