#22919 Okay, so I had to change out my intake manifold gasket on sunday. Was having an issue with hunting and way to high idle. Turned out to be intake manifold gasket was blown out on the #2 cylinder, literally! When I pulled the intake manifold I noticed the gasket had a slice in it between the #2 and #3 cylinders, horizontaly, in the middle, about 1/16 to 1/8 wide. was wondering if this is normal or did the guys who did my rebuild screw up.
Comments are more than welcome,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Dan

#22920 I would have to say builder error. I've never seen a gasket just "split" from just sitting there. :?

LMK if you want a Hondata IM gasket. :thumb:

#22983 the reason why it probably split is because the previous gasket was not sanded all the way off so there was a tiny gap there and that will cause you to have a gasket split...happened on my crx
