- Sat Aug 07, 2010 7:00 pm #207843 Just use Valvoline conventional oil for the engine, and either Mobil1 10w-30 or Honda MTF2 for the gearbox oil. Unless you're running some serious modifications or a built engine, there's no need for synthetic oil or even synthetic blend.
