- Sun Jul 05, 2009 9:18 pm #128467 Okay, so I'm driving around, and I notice that when I hit my brakes, my cluster, radio and clock would lose power for a second, but would come back, now this only happened like 3 times in my ~15 minute ride, so I pulled over, parked the car and checked everything, looked all good, nothing out of the ordinary looking, then a few minutes later go to start the car, and all the lights on the cluster come on, radio comes on, clock comes on, and my gauges light up, but when I go to turn the key to turn it on, I can hear it try to start, and it try's to crank it but it won't start and after it turns it over a few times, the noise it makes will kind of die off then if i try again a few seconds later it won't even do that crank thing. But I waited for over an hour for someone to come help me out, and I tried to start it to show them what happened, and when I did, it did crank, and it started but it had a hard time doing so.

Anyone have any idea what's going on?

when my alternater went out it did the same thing an since the alternater was bad it killed the battery
