you bring up a really good point about not being able to get traction without slicks. i would like to get a set for the front for when i do take it to the strip. that will be down the road tho. will 400 hp be an unrealistic goal for a weekend driver with a great set of shoes?
preesh the tip on the brakes. im actually reading the forum on it right now.
so what would you suggest for my build? im open for what will work best in the long run. money saving is always good too, but not absolutely necessary.

If you're upgrading from drums to discs then you'll also want to swap a master cylinder/brake booster/proportioning valve from at least an Si or a GSR without ABS
Also, if you're throwing down 400whp, you're going to have traction problems if you're on street tires. These cars are too light for that kind of useable power. I think you'll be okay on slicks, at the strip though.
good luck and keep us updated
