- Tue Aug 12, 2008 6:24 pm #65592 When I got my Civic 5 years ago I installed an APEXi World sport exhaust. Almost 5 years to the day. Today I left for work with nothing wrong and by the time I got to the office there was no doubt I had a hole somewhere. I assumed it was the little midpipe I had to make after doing my swap to make the exhaust longer. But when I got to the muffler shop at lunch the guy showed me it was actually the ceramic coated resonator that had a big hole in it. It was on the side so I know it wasn't from hitting anything. He said once you get a small hole it turns into a big one fast. It cost me $150 bucks to get a new midpipe put in.

So my question is. Should I be upset with APEXi? I've always liked their products until now. Is 5 years the normal lifetime? And what exhaust should I buy in the future to get a longer life out of it. I've heard of stainless ones and titanium. But are they worth it?
